What Makes American Original 70's Telecaster Unique - Seth Lover's Vision
Many among you recognize the virtue of having a humbucker in the neck position & a single coil pickup at the bridge.
That is what this Fender American Original ‘70s Telecaster Custom solid body electric guitar has in itself.
Back in 70s, when fender was trying to enter the market with their own humbucking pickup.
They hired the legendary designer of humbucking pickup, Seth Lover, who designed an exceptional and distinct dual coil pickup.
The exclusive feature about this pickup was that it was made out of a material called CuNiFe which is copper (Cu), nickel (Ni) and iron (Fe) that helps in creating brilliant, clear and bell like humbucking sound.
The original concept of this CuNiFe magnets were that, that they were initially designed as the screws to support the pole pieces which was really unique.
Therefore, the Seth lover wanted these pickups to have a Fender touch in it so he put a lot of top-end on them and sparkle and included a lot of bottom end as well resulting in a very distinctive fender tone for a humbucker.
In 1979, the Telecaster Custom came to its extinction and was put to an end.
Which simultaneously lead to the extinction of the actual CuNiFe magnet pickup and they vanished off the face of the planet which was leaving any traces.
But the telecaster made a comeback with this fabulous Fender American Original ‘70s Telecaster which was a long awaited and desired telecaster by many musicians.
The sounds so produced by this telecaster are classic and contemporary that are perfect for blues, country, rock and pop.
