  1. I have this keyboard and love the sound, love the features, but I have to admit it has to be one of the most difficult to use of any keyboard I’ve ever tried. The user manual is so detailed and assumes you’re Thomas Edison. It is much too difficult for me. For example, read the page on the mixer E-64, makes no sense whatsoever to me and I’m a choir director with a Master’s degree in Education, taught middle school for 28 years.
Also, is there an error on this page ? It shows the CTX-5000 with 88 keys in the chart.
And I just have to say what may be ‘BUDGET” for some ($449) is definitely not in the ‘Budget’ bracket for all of us. I think “budge’ refers to the toy Casios and Yamahas at under $200. I don’t consider the CTX5000 a ‘budget’ ANYTHING ! Thanks, appreciate all you did on this, but I still don’t understand how to use it. Right now, I’m still trying to get the mic to work.

  2. Do ctx-5000 provides transpose features and does the variant 3000 provides the same? In terms of functionalities and quality, what would you recommend ??

    Reply
    • Yes James CT-X5000 does provides transpose feature to alter the pitch up to +/- 12, and without a doubt X5000 is a much better then the other variant in the series.
